Breeding conditions:
|
| Numbers of Arctic foxes are very low, but breeding was recorded. Snowy owls, pomarine and long-tailed squas do not breed, their numbers were low. Buzzards were not breeding everywhere, but average brood size in nests (3.0) was somewhat higher than in 1994. Buzzards were noted to take Red Phalaropes, and a record of cannibalism in a brood was made. Known nests of peregrine falcon were occupied. Reproduction was supposedly successful in waders as broods of most delta species were recorded. Ringed Plover broods were more common than in 1994.
